Determination of specific heat capacity
Determination of Specific Heat Capacity (cp) is a way to determine material property describing the energy required to induce a certain change in the temperature of a unit mass of the material.
To measure this quantity, a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) may be used. Â The DSC measures specific heat capacity by heating a sample and measuring the temperature difference between the sample and a reference (ISO 11357-4).
