The BS EN 60068-2-64 Environmental test standard is a widely used standard to determine the ability of a product to withstand specified severities of broadband random vibration. The standard, while primarily aimed at electrotechnical products, can be used for a wide range of products and is often quoted in other standards.

This standard is applicable to products which may be subjected to vibration resulting from transportation or operational environments, for example in aircraft, space vehicles and land vehicles. It is primarily intended for unpackaged products and for items in their transportation containers.
