For the larger test, we sourced a full-sized bathtub and filled this with water, to replicate a real-world scenario in which the product would be used as closely as possible. Different variables were tested such as volume of product used, volume of water present, and the vicinity of an ignition source. This allowed us to create a clearer picture of how much of a risk the product posed in a variety of different scenarios.
Our technical team worked closely with the BBC production crew to ensure:
