International UN Certificates

The VCA-DGO allow any EU based company to hold their own certificate in their name.  However, the GB mark can be used by international companies as well, and Impact offer a service to hold the certificate on behalf of non EU companies.

This allows non EU companies worldwide to benefit from the trust and quality associated with a GB mark, instead of other international UN certificates.

We work with clients all over the world, with many of the certificates being held for companies in India, Pakistan, UAE and Egypt. Contact Impact today to find out how we can help you.

International UN Certificate Requirements

For Impact Solutions to hold a UN certificate for a non EU company, we require the following:

  • a copy of a valid ISO 9001 certificate for the premises where the manufacturing takes place.
  • a signed declaration that in the event of a packaging failure which the VCA decides needs to be investigated, that you will cover the costs involved.
  • a packaging specification sheet
  • sufficient packages to undertake the testing.

How it works

UN certificates
  1. You provide the documentation detailed above, along with the agreed number of test samples (based on type of container).
  2. Impact Solutions undertake the UN testing and prepare a report for the VCA.
  3. Impact Solutions will make an application to the VCA for a UN mark under Impact Solutions name, referencing the place of manufacturing as yourselves.
  4. The VCA, in approximately 2 – 3 weeks will issue a UN mark certificate.  A copy of this will be provided to yourselves with the original held by Impact Solutions.
